Does anyone know of a windshield bag that will work on a Tourer OEM windshield? I've been totally frustrated by online bike shops and their lack of simple basic specs (like where the mounting holes are located, or dimensions). Thanks for any help with this!

Your quick search did a lot better than mine. I saw some Hopnel listed on other sites but they didn't have enough information that I could be sure they'd fit. The first link shows it on the bike and that's great. Thanks a lot for the information!

Look thru some od posts, less then a month ago. Theres a write up on the HD shield pouches that I use. Far better then what you will find.

Thanks a lot Paxton! Valk riders are great, aren't they? The first post above had a link for Web site called Chaotic Motorsports that showed a Hopnel DS-110463 that is made for the Valk. I went to check out and got a warning that the site was not secure... There was also no phone number or contact info on the Web page - that scares me. Further searching proved that this really is the pouch for the Valk but it may be discontinued. I found it on another site but they said they didn't have any more. The thing about the DS-110463 is that the pouches are nicely spaced to fit perfectly around the speedo and tach. I'm going to see if I can run one of these down. Thanks again for all the suggestions and pointers. I think I'm obsessed with finding windshield pouches.... K

I went through this a year ago looking for the hopnel pouch. It's not made anymore, and most sites are not even aware that they are displaying a different photo then what they're shipping. I bought it 3 times from 3 different sites. All 3 had the correct photo, but sent a different pouch. When questioned, they all agreed the photo was wrong, and they couldn't get the correct one any longer. The first 2 places apologized, took it back with no restocking charge and furnished me with a return label. Dollar rider didn't care that they sent me the wrong item and charged me a restock fee. I got mad and filed a claim with Paypal. They refunded the restock fee, but I pretty much had to go suck eggs on the return shipping.
If you DO find a new pouch, Please let me know where! Thanks!

You got it. Thanks for the info about DollarRider...
I recently had an unpleasant experience with J&P Cycles. I was trying to get some info about the pouches they were displaying on their site and used their "Chat". The guy on the other end was a complete dick and kept copying a pasting things from the Web that I'd already seen. He had no information but plenty of attitude. I'm off their mailing list.
Thanks again, K

Talking about questionable eBay sellers... I might have already posted this but STAY away from "Chromeplace" on eBay. They are blatant crooks. After you inquire 'bout delays, which you MUST repeatedly do, they tell you the item is in-route, "it should be there by tomorrow..." but it isn't even on shelf. And the drill goes on and on... Meanwhile, delaying tactics allows them to use your money as their operating cash flow. Some buyers loose their money as "Chromeplace" wares them down into walking away, with unethical tactics, causing them to leave their money behind. VERY INSTRUCTIVE: Read their 1-sentence eBay-negative feedback for the past 12 months and reach your own judgments. I do take personal account for my comments. Please keep in mind, the Dollar Rider web-site windshield is for the "National Cycle" windshield, NOT the OEM Honda windshield. I have the J&M Tri pouch for my Honda windshield and it's getting old and worn. I've also been looking for a replacement without any luck. I like mine and can't ride without it, but they no longer make it like so many other Valkyrie accessories. Hell, the stuff on my bike thats no longer made is worth more than my bike. I'm trying to find a local leather guy to make me one, using mine as a model/template.

I never saw a national, but when I saw the photo of exactly what I wanted on a Valkyrie, I ordered it. The National cycle one came and it is different from what is in the picture. A year ago I pointed out, and they acknowledged the photo is wrong, but they haven't changed it.

Its been brought up before but has anybody contacted Talisman Leather, a VRCC sponsor, and asked him to produce some for us? He already makes several different models so maybe all he needs is a gentle nudge and a picture like this to encourage him to make a run for us. http://www.saddlebagsbytalisman.com/
