Got cabin fever ? Several of us are rollin' into Marion, Va. friday evening April 13 to scout out the route for the June ride " Return To Hillbilly Highway " . We will arrive friday evening 4-13 hang out and party then do the scouting ride saturday 4-14 and return back to Marion to hang out and party some more  sunday 4-15 we'll head for home.Anyone thats gettin' cabin fever or just want to come ride then know you are welcome....We'll use the same motel that we have already sold out for the June ride ( If you still want to come in June and don't have reservations for ground zero another motel next door still has rooms available ) .This motel is located downtown in Marion just off I-81 @ Exit 42...Bring It ...LET'S RIDE  Below is a post Don ( Highbinder ) made a few weeks ago.... The roads we picked out for this year's ride is like none you've ever been on....we didn't pick the tourist route with all the colorful signs, where folks are selling all kinds of goodies and souvenirs, we'll be lucky to find a filling station with more then 2 pumps at it and only one works.. ...We going deep into Appalachia, where coal, whiskey and gunpowder made history, not much has changed back there from what I can see...I spoke to some folks back there last weekend and they are looking forward at seeing this ride come thru their area, they told me they are grateful to all of you for coming out to see their part of the country and that they would like to see more tourism back there....so if you're looking for a real interesting and exciting ride, to places like you've never seen before and probably never will again, don't miss this ride I'm looking forward to this scouting ride because that's when we really get to talk to folks back there and get loads of information about the area, not to mention the roads which are outstanding...  |

9:00 or so eastern we are taking some great roads on the way up . Bring it if you can Tom I'm sure you will enjoy both the ride up friday and the ride Don has lined out for us on saturday. |

It's a Econo Lodge I've never stayed at it. It don't look bad from the road I'm sure its a Hindu Hilton ....Are you coming ? If so get with Tom ( Santa ) and save a few buck$  |

This motel is about 15 miles north of Knoxville....Coming out of Alabama you can take Hwy 58 in Kingston through Oak Ridge and hit Hwy 61 and never have to deal with Knoxville....Charles G Seivers Boulevard where the motel is located is Hwy 61. |

Crazy B and I hope to arrive in Marion before 6pm on Friday. I just booked a room at the Econo Lodge since the Americas Best Value Inn is already fully booked for this weekend.
Is the meeting place still going to be at the Americas Best?

All I get is a recording to leave a message at America's Best .I did call Econo Lodge next door and was told they have plenty of rooms ....He cut me a deal if we sell 8 rooms or better and claims he has plenty of rooms. |

Bigwolf You do know this is just a scoutin' ride the real ride is in June....We've sold out the motel and the one next door has several of us as well for the june ride....To be honest if you can't do both you should wait till june when the large group comes to town thats when you'll get to meet folks from all over.
