And where was this Air Show? Looks like you had a great time.
It was at Sun & Fun, a week long event at Lakeland Linder airport in Fl. Probably over a 1000 aircraft on the field any day, and airshows daily starting at 1 and going until after dark. Some do aerobatics at night with fire works on the planes. Plus just about every manufacturer of aircraft displaying the newest stuff . It is the second largest meet in the US, only Oshkosh is larger. |

Retirement is treating you well Bill. The weather was perfect, looks like a great day  I really wanted to go, but the weekend wasn't working out for me and Monday thru Friday that "W" word gets in the way. |

Retirement is treating you well Bill. The weather was perfect, looks like a great day I really wanted to go, but the weekend wasn't working out for me and Monday thru Friday that "W" word gets in the way. Yep gets better all the time, been helping a friend finish assembly on his aircraft up at pilot country. Neighbor stopped by to shoot the bull, and asked If I wanted to take a short trip with him, got in a hop to Gainsville and back in his beech craft, made for a fun morning. here is pic of the plane we are building, taken 3 weeks ago, now the only stuff left is mount the cowlings, do the weight and balance, then get the paper work signed off. Will be test flying it next week.  |
