Thanks to the help from a number of great people, I am back together and riding again. I had previously posted about my ruined Rear Wheel and Final Drive evidently caused by a missing Thrust Washer. I want to give a special thanks to Chrisj, Warlock, and Lucky Duck. This is my second Valk but the first time I have taken the rear wheel off. It was an experience. Being a Tourer with saddlebag rails did not make it easier. Probably put too much lube on (Bel-Ray on splines and Valvoline Durablend on Driveshaft). The replaced parts included a good Final Drive and Drive Flange (both from the same bike from Pinwall), Wheel, new O-Rings, Thrust Washer, and Damper Screws. Everything seems to be fine and the bike feels good. Put about 40 miles on it today with no problems. The scary part is that I hope everything is fine inside the Final Drive, but I won't know until this fall when I pull it apart again to check. The rear tire has enough tread for the summer plus some. I purposefully did not put a new tire on so that I would have to remove the rear wheel this winter for a new tire. Being the lazy type that I am, this makes sure that I pull everything apart this winter to check the Splines and Driveshaft.
