This truly sucks!

A long time friend of mine lost his 28-year-old son Thursday.

My friend is a tree cutter, taught me a ton on how to do it.  His son struck out on his own, had an excellent business going as a tree cutter.  Smart, hardworking, friendly, are just some of the words to describe him.

Don't know what happened yet, but he was cutting storm damage and somehow got his head crushed.  His crew, who loved working with him, saw the whole thing, tried to save him.  Police tried CPR.  No go.

If it happened to this kid, it will happen to anyone.

He was a really good kid/guy.

His parents are devastated.

"There but by the grace of God go I" has always been my motto. We all live the life he intends us to live and when it's over, it's over. My condolences to the family and friends.

Went to the wake today, it was bad.   Understandable, his Mom could not be consoled, his Dad in a state of shock.  All I could do was give them my sorrow and love.

The crowd, 15 min after the door opened at 3pm, was out the door, down the sidewalk, around the back of the building, around the other side to the front of the building and then turned back onto the lawn.  I bet the number of mourners will be in the K’s.

Tomorrow, the funeral.

This kid was loved!

Over 30 competiters sent trucks and crews.  Tylers's truck is the white one up front.  Over 400 people attended.  This shot was taken after the funeral and most have already gone.
The wake went till 12:30am this morning.

Prayers from Texas.   We're not supposed to have to bury our children.   Cry
