Gassed up earlier. Parked shortly after.  Cme back to find a circle 10" in diameter on the pavement where gas is coming out the vent tube.  Pulled tank and gas is spewing from the vent tube, even though the tank is on its nose. Suggestions?

Did you overfill?

This is normal when the gas expands or you overfill and the tank is relieving pressure...some of the overfill will come out of the vent tube.

More knowledgeable guys, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I guess the amount is what surprised me.  This was a good sized puddle and it was still dripping fast.
