I feels your pain..we've been getting mostly rain and high winds for what seems like years. Sun is out today, but winds are 40 mph.. tomorrow should be overcast with 20mph winds, but I am going down to pick up the beemer and ride it home, no matter what, lol..I have found a fella with a lift table I can borrow, so the plan is to get her here and get started on putting in a new clutch, seals and slave cylinder next week.

Sounds like a plan the way things are I don't see any good riding for at least a week.It seems like every time I do go out it starts raining again.I've been making some bling for my valk and it looks good.I got the idea from someone else that lost a nut cover and was looking to buy some new ones at $60 for two.I have a small lathe so I made nut covers for the fork tubes on the top and also the bottom. The neatest ones are covering the valve cover bolts.I made them out of brass an polished to a real good shine.

hey art, tears are running out of my eyes.   Evil  the weather has been great down here, sunshine every day, 75* - 80*, other than working, i'm out getting some miles in.  let me know when you firm up your schedule for coming down here.

but . . . the heat of summer is not far away.   not looking forward to 110*

Got that Global warming goin on in Iowa. Ridden to work 14 months (at least once in the month) in a row. A few times it was single digits but it was dry.

Got just over 1000 miles in on the year. 1st of April and it's over 90 degrees for the high. Not an April fools joke either. (I had to work the whole day so didn't get to play)

Maybe you can learn to enjoy riding in the cold and rain and I'll try to learn to enjoy working.

Nah.
