Just came a pretty good thunderstorm here and the hail was getting busy. Got my wifes car in the garage just in time the trees and the roof took a good beatin'.It's been along time since we've had hail like this and I remember back in the 90's we had hail about baseball size....One of my pick-up trucks still wear's the mark's from that one  Sad

That'll leave a mark!

Couple years ago Romeo, his wife Jeaneane, and I were out for a ride and a we were riding into a storm, They had on 3/4 helmets with faceshields, I had my trusty 1/2 helmet.  It started coming down pretty good, we were hammering along about 70 mph.  They wondered why I suddenly fell WAY behind.  They didn't realize what was coming down was pea size hail.  Didn't last long but hurts like hell @ 70 w/o a shield.

Get that roof checked Joe. Even when it don't look bad that hail has damaged it. Went thru needing a new roof when storms hit Knoxville last April. Messed up a 4 year old roof and took out nthe siding on one side of the house.

I ran into some on I-90 outside of Sturgis this year. Miles of bikes along the road. It was good nickle size stuff. I pulled over and put the cover on the bike. I had my rain coat on but it hurt. Put my sock cap on to help and had to get under my bike cover. Bikers where gettin in backs of trailer, cars, truck, etc to get out of it. Last a good 5 min and the sun was shinning like a nice summer day during all this.

Back in the late 80's I worked for a company that had a plant Hopkinsville Ky. We used to fly into Evansville In. Rent a car, and then drive to Hopkinsville. One time on the way back to Evansville we were coming through the hills when it started to hail hard. You could hardly see. Everybody was pulling over and stopping on the freeway. I kept going, the guy with me asked why I didn't stop. I told him because I didn't want to be sitting there when some a$$ like myself come through. We just laughed and trudged on.
