Heading out in a few weeks, and first stop is Nashville.   I'm hoping some of you are familiar with Southern Illinois, KY, and Tenn "backroads"....

I'd like to cross the Mississippi in Chester, Il, then thinking of taking Route 3 South to Route 149....Travel East through Marion on 13 and cross the (Ohio?)River at Old Shawneetown.....

From there, 109 to Providence and pick up 41 where I can be a ramblin man!!......Good roads?  Interesting??  Am I missing anything?

I've crossed the river several times at Cape Girar "doh" following 3 through Cairo, Land between the Lakes, etc....)..

Then From Nashville headed to Dayton, TN...

Sorry, can't speak with any real knowledge of that part of KY but, if you happen to get lost and end up anywhere near Bardstown on Saturday, we'd welcome you with open arms at our Meet, Greet and Eat.

Might look at crossing the Ohio at Cave In Rock. It's about 25 miles up river and you cross on a ferry, wouldn't have to change the Route much and it's free.

Did a distillery ride in Kentucky a couple of years ago. Beautiful country and an absolute joy to ride. Highly recommend.

When you're in Kentucky plan a ride through Rabbit Hash. It's a small town on the river with just a general store and lots of bikers.
