Having trouble with loading pics from the camera but here is the report and some pics

Folks on the plane down were not believing me that I would fly to Houston from NY for a BBQ but it was more than that.

It was hanging with stewardesses and trying to get them to play hookey and come to the Q

Seriously it was honoring the memory of a member, a really good man, struck down before his time and riding with friends in the free air of the
republic of Texas, drinking and eating and telling lies and looking at hundred or so Valkyries, Spyders and maybe half a dozen Vettes

Here is what I found when Hay brought me to his house

wowie !!  After a mile or so riding his neighborhood we went right over to HG and FB's place

Friday evening Bandit led a short moving prayer before dinner. It was great seeing him and getting time to talk with Misfit, Strider, Don and Tracy, Disco, Clint, Serk and seeing those triplets in person and of course Hay, JoeValkIS and the moderator and his 23 yr old child bride

Saturday after breakfast here is the food shot

Wizard led us on a 60-70 mile ride thru the Texas countryside after we all put the black ribbons with Pat's name on the bikes.  The place we stopped for lunch had burned down within the year but all was looking great when we arrived. These were our servers and bartenders and Texas was justly proud.

another 40 miles back to hg & fb house after the eats  some of the bikes at the lunch stop around 40 or so, others were visiting Galvaston and others arrived later at the Q   one of Lyn's at the front of the pic  enjoyed her company as always and Wiz too

Texas Deb, Fiddle Mike and the luckiest girl in Flour Bluff (Jill)  in a happy moment at lunch

sorry dont know the fellow in back

Don and scooby? not sure in the mancave

if they were women one of em would have to go home and change outfits but fortunately that was not the case  lol

Got to spend time with Gear Jammer, Roadkill, folks I hadnt seen in years

What can I say about the evening, raffles for the camp which is really what the Q is about as this is the 15th year that Mark and Charlyne have really gone all out to help these kids. I am proud to call them friends as Warren says dont come much better no how

Before I knew it, it was dark and I was thinkin that since I dont do so well at night time to head for the motel.  But not before PIE !!!!   Lori's pies went for big money as did 4 briskets all for the camp

HERE IS the new bike in Marks stable

Thanks HG and FB for all you do, and the brisket sandwich that I ate in atlanta  that was good !!!!

Thanks again to Jimmy (Hayhauler) for the hospitality and the friendship and the rides to the airport today and friday and the use of that Wing.

I wish I could remember all the names with the faces  like the feller on the left I talked to and damn if I now forget the name............   hayhauler and joevalkis next to him

Proof Oss was indeed there....Jimmy, HG, Strider and Oss

Thanks for the memories, remember you have to make your own memories so go out and do it

Glad you got to come down for HG and FB's Q.  Really enjoyed getting to see you again and return the favor of riding my spare bike.  We had a blast and you are right about Hot Glue and Flamingo Babe, none better.

Tell Bonnie HI for me n BJ and we will see you soon.
