I thought I would tell everyone here that on May 5th to the 12th my girlfriend and I along with my brother (Psychotic Bovine) and his wife will be going to Anna Maria Island FL for well deserved R&R on the beach. If anyone is near that area and wanted to say get a drink or meal while we are down there drop me a line. I am looking forward to this trip. I need a vacation bad............Woo Hoo....

Anna Maria is part of my hometown range, beautiful down there!  cooldude
Kim & I will be riding back from Key West on May 2nd from some well deserved R&R ourselves.
Tundra, Grumpy, Kylenav & a few other Valkers live down that way. Maybe they'll pipe up.  Wink

No we are flying down......

Flying:   Valkyrie, in the airplane, flapping your arms and make like they are wings, or in that big old GMC picky up.

LOL:  just a havin fun witch ya Mark.    Tell Sheila/Twila, I said hello.....

PS:    When are you 2 getting married?     Want to try and make the weddin if possible.   I got to met Sheila/Twila one of these days, she sounds like a sweetheart.

I had a condo there in Holmes Beach for a number of years.  Great beaches and warm gulf water.  Go to the Sandbar Restaurant in Anna Maria for dinner and sit outside as sun goes down.  They used to have a contest every night on which diner could predict sunset the closest to win free drinks, so check the paper.  Try the Beachhouse Rest. in Bradenton for lunch and go out to the Rod and Reel Pier on Anna Maria for breakfast or lunch.  Smiley

Sunset from the deck at the Sandbar Rest.

Bradenton is my hometown. Having lived on the 'Island' for 10 years, I had to move onto the flatlands [mainland] about 20 years ago to escape the snowbirds and traffic; but you'll go right past me on the way out to Anna Maria. Keep me posted when you're on our way. We'll be around.

Riding down would be nice, but we are pressed for time.  I only get a week off at a time.
The company I work for owns a beach front condo and rents it out to us happy employees for a fair price.  It's been 16 years since I have been down there, can't wait to go in May.
It's right in the Holmes Beach area.  I have been to the rod and reel pier, wonderful little restaurant!

Fort Walton Beach, Florida I'm a simple man, I like pretty, dark haired woman and breakfast food.

I have direct ties to the Bradenton area.  Bradenton was originally named after my family.  I was born there.....and my family's cemetary is on 3rd Ave.

At least one Harley dealer in Sarasota (close) rents bikes.  They own a dealership in Bradenton, maybe they rent bikes there too.

If you're interested, I can show you a great ride via Google maps.
