ValkPilot has volunteered to host a wrench party on April 21st or 22nd.  If you are planning to go, which day works best for you?

And who is working on what?

I'd like to see if someone could ride my bike while it's hot and get an opinion on my clutch. Its a little jerky when its good and warm, and its starting to shutter when released uphill or 2 up. Its not really a big deal, but I'd like to know if its something I'll need to take care of before Eureka Springs. I'd also like to see if it's possible to play with the exhaust mounts and get my right exhaust off the bag a little bit... My right bag is a little burned/ discolored from the heat. Not really noticeable, but still... I gotta leave around 2-2:30ish so I prolly won't mess with it, just need some ideas and advice. Other than that ill be an extra set of hands. Looking forward to it.

I can bring the left fork tool and fork seal driver if they're not in the football.

Either day works for me.  I can't think of anything critical (unless we break on the way to Insane...then I'll speak up).

What does the data say?

Saturday is winning if I count the "eithers."  Actually, it's winning even if I don't.

Being an impatient so-and-so, I went ahead and did the rear end service on the Jet bike today.  I was assisted by BnBTom who looks terrific dressed as a scrub nurse.  I had to beg him to wear the little hat, but it really completes the look, I think.

Happily, the rear drive line looks good. Here's a pic of the driven hub spines.

The bike is a '97 with about 60k on it.  Everything else was in fine shape as well.

So...now I can either do a desog on the Black bike or change its fork springs.  Or, I can just stupervise other folks.

As Disco suggested, let's start a list of who needs what.

Wish I could be there VP and all.  Miss being involved with such fine folks.
I did just register for Inzane.  Looking forward to it.  You all play nice and don't fight.

Wish you could make it.  How 'bout we go get your bike, break something, then fix it for you.  Would that be as good as being there?

sounds good to me, instead of breaking something, why not just get my bike and make sure it's road worthy for Inzane?  Tom, no need for that rear end check butt, thanks for thinking of me
