I am putting my '99 IS in for some service at the dealer to be ready for this year's riding season, and it popped into my mind that i really don't know if there have ever been any recalls on the 1999 IS.  since I am not the orginal owner i might not have ever made it into Honda's database to get notified.  I tried a google search but didn't come up with anything.

any sites that list the recalls?   or anyone here just know if the '99 IS had any?

I know there are no recalls on the 99 IS, because I needed to look before being allowed to import mine into Canada.

Honda has a site for that, FREE, just enter in your VIN #.

yea there is a recall  on the 99 black I/S  apraently they got the wrong shade of black from color rite and tends to slow the bikes down and also they lose horse power  2funny
