Son Andy and I went to a private Cowboy action range today and shot up 550 rounds of 22's and a little over 100 rounds of my home cast 45acp.
Tested out the wife's PT .22 I just repaired and my 10/22 that I've been doing some trigger work on. Both ran well as did the boys Walther and my 1911.
First time I've shot falling and swinging steel targets, wow what a bunch of fun. Way more fun than paper. Gonna have to build a single stack 1911 when I've got paychecks coming in again and maybe try some cowboy action shooting. Really looks like it would be fun.
We were probably there 90 minutes. I was standing a lot of that time. That the longest time I've spent on my feet since 2/17 which was my first leg surgery. I think I'm getting closer to being me again.

Hopefully I'll be returning to work and riding soon.
