It's all good. The Cardinals just kept coming back in Game 6 - they deserved the win!

The American League Champion Texas Rangers open Friday in Arlington, going for a three-peat and another shot at the World Series.  All us taxpayers hope they make it again.  Arlington tax revenues were up the last 2 years while the cities surrounding Arlington, including Dallas and Fort Worth, were down.  Seems to be associated with having the Rangers winning and going into the post season plus Jerry World.

It's not looking good. The guy the Cubs picked up to run things (Theo Epstein) is wildly overrated. The Red Sox teams that won WS is 2004 and 2007 were largely made up of Dan Duquette guys. Theo's moves have been pretty awful; J.D. Drew, John Lackey, Edgar Renteria, Julio Lugo, Eric Gagne, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Mike Cameron's bloated corpse, NOT signing Johnny Damon, NOT signing Jason Bay, NOT signing Victor Martinez... all were expensive and disastrous moves (or non moves).

That's too bad because I'd like to see the Cubs win one.

BTW, starting the season in inter-league play? Who's stupid idea was that?
