Hey guys, Willow may get upset at this post but just want to give you all a heads up about dealing with Sun Coast Cycle Sports.com thru ebay. Many of you may remember seeing my past posts on used final drive with worn teeth. Something should have told me to stay clear when in the beginning I asked him for a picture of the teeth before I placed the order. His comment back was if they were questionable he would have had a picture in the ebay add. My second mistake was made when I did not file a complaint with paypal before sending the unit back. The seller keep the 20% restocking fee stating that I changed my mind and closed the deal. Two mistakes on my part shame on me. It won't happen again.
Just giving you all the heads up about dealing with this company in the future.

If you used a Credit card through Paypal, you *might* be able to get some help from the the credit card company. Worth a toll free call.
I did that once when I got some junk, but Paypal sided with the seller.

That's correct but it doesn't make any difference. It's PayPal who will put the pressure on the dealer to make it "right". So, to demure for that reason is not making any sense. Complain on! *** |

plus there is a grievance procedure though ebay. if the seller wants to keep selling on ebay and doesn't want a bad report from u, they will fix things.

I've been leery of any outfit that lists a final drive without the drive flange or clear pics of the splines on both the flange and drive. Been a lot of them on ebay lately that look like you'd be walking within a hundred miles of installing them.
I would still file a complaint with ebay, and paypal if you used them.

Paypal is owned by Ebay but I would still file a complaint through both. Have you left feedback for the transaction yet. If you have given good feedback already, I believe the option of a complaint has been closed with Ebay.

We left very bad feedback. My wife went to file the complaint and it appears that since the seller closed the deal stating that I changed my mind they would not accept the complaint. I will go back to ebay again tonight when I get home from work. |
