i use them ok with me no trouble at all. the big key is to charge overnight or fully charge before use it extends the life of the battery. i got a couple of good yrs out of the battery so far like about 40,000 trouble free. my third battery in 13 yrs so far and the second wallyworld. but i would buy it. now there marine batt. are crap poooo. lol

Replaced my original battery just shy of 8 years old. Replaced with Wal-Mart battery because it was a Sunday, of course. No problems so far.

I bought a Walmart battery last fall and it failed after a couple of months and would not take a charge. I had charged it up with my charger overnight before using it the first time. This is my only experience with this battery, so I hesitate to draw any conclusions....possibly it could have been a rare defect.
I did do battery comparisons again 2 weeks ago when the battery on my other Interstate failed. It had a Yuasa battery which had lasted for 6 years. Since the price difference was negligible between the Yuasa and the next cheaper battery, I decided to buy the Yuasa battery from the Honda dealer for $86.

I will never buy another battery from Walmart. The last one didn't last 1 year, went dead and wouldn't take a charge. For less than $10 more, you can get a genuine Yuasa replacement. The original battery lasted more than 7 years. Was still good when I took it out, changed it because of age.

Wal-mart everstart maxx is an AGM type. Only the maxx battery line is made by Deka at walmart. Deka batteries are highly rated by consumer reports. The maxx line also gets high marks. I have had mine for over a yr now, with no problems. U have to use a battery charger like the http://www.batterychargers.com/ which walmart sells to charge it correctly like the battery manual states. The smaller schumacher is bacially the same as the highly rated yuasa charger that gets top rated by motorcycle consumer news.

I replaced my original battery with a Walmart Everstart after 5 yrs. The Wally World battery is now in its 6th yr. I may replace it anyway.......just because.
