Wow. If he lives through a crash or two he'll quit riding like it's just a video game.

He's not the Lone Ranger. Go to youtube and search for "Insane Motorcycle ride traffic" and watch what you find. In particular the Moscow/Russian rides. Probably the inspiration for this idiot.

You know, if just one person/driver decides to change lanes while he's splitting lanes between them, He's roadkill. Won't be nothing left worth pick'n up.
I tend to agree that jerks that ride like this give us all a bad reputation but, I can only do what one person can do and that's to be a courteous rider and to ride defensively. Can't do much about the idiots. Darwin's laws will eventually catch up with them.

That is just frickin insane. He may be confident in his abilities, but one never knows what other drivers are going to do. He's an accident looking for a place to happen.

I just hate it when members of the motorcycling community link arms with the mind numb cage only populace. Many circles? I demand a recount. (: Seriously, I spent most of Friday pissed off because of a comment from a co-worker. Admittedly, she's a moron, and not just because of this, but we were discussing another co-worker who recently died when he wrecked his Hayabusa. I used the opportunity to give my canned "we're harder to notice. Please look again, make sure you don't "never see me". She responded by saying "they [motorcyclists] all are just driving too fast and zipping in and out of lanes anyway". As for whether we are slandered by this, that is not the right term for it, but we do face some repercussions. The uneducated public doesn't see any difference between the daily commuter with a family, the hot-dogger with a sport bike popping wheelies on the freeway, or the Hell's Angels stereotype with open pipes straight out of a 1950's motorcycle gang movie. Therefore, the public's opinion of this rider affects their generic opinion of me as I'm riding to work in the morning. These videos get lots of publicity, my co-worker watches it, and it reinforces the view she wanted to have anyway. My attempt to make her realize that real people are on those motorcycles didn't get me anywhere. True, she's a complete moron, but getting hit by a moron in an SUV doesn't hurt any less than getting hit by a genius in an SUV. Mark

... and it reinforces the view she wanted to have anyway. This is my point, Mark, that the vast majority of the anti-motorcycle crowd have already made up their minds and it will not be for the reasons they cite. That's why your attempts at reason made no more progress than would an explanation of the well meaning humanity of certain minorities to a KKK member. Most people who hate bikers simply hate bikers. It may be from envy, fear, or just what they need to do to make themselves out to be somehow superior, but it's seldom due to well applied logic. If you're fighting to change their minds, you'll find yourself in a battle with no hope of success.
I should have used "some" rather than "many".

I guess that what I'm saying is that even if it won't change the minds of a lot of folks out there, reinforcing the negatives is not exactly progress.
