Interstate seat on a standard

I found a cheap IS seat and was thinking of trying it out. Is there any modding needed or will it bolt right on?
Looking for an IS tank as well if anyone has one laying around I would like to know what you would sell it for.

About the only "extra" you'll have to worry about is that plastic locating tab at the rear of the seat. It fits between a pair of vertical stops on the I/S; these are absent on the other models. You could probably fabricate something. Head over to the Ohio regional board and ask Ike how he set his up, as he's running an I/S seat on a '01 Standard.

The I/S seat will fit on a standard or tourer.
You must first remove the rear mounts from the I/S seat and the passenger Std/tourer seat. Swap the std/tourer mount onto the I/S seat (might need a little gentle persuation), the I/S seat front clips on like a Std/tourer and the rear bolts to the fender.
Simple,....but quite effective way to get a comfortable seat for not a lot of money!

Thanks, I took a chance and had already closed the deal on EBAY. Got an 01 IS seat for $50 to replace the crappy no name custom seat that was on it. Thinking of sending the original pan to Russell for a custom seat of my own.
