I saw your trailer on the "sync thread"---it looks good.  Would you tell me what brand and how it works for you?  Will appreciate any evaluation info as I am shopping for a trailer for Interstate  and will purchase on as soon as I get the hitch situation figured out.  Email me if you wish.  Thanks-- JOHN

Hi John
that is a California Sidecar Escapade Elite trailer. http://www.californiasidecar.com/trailers.htm

it actually goes with my Gold Wing.

it pulls great, easy to balance the load for not too much tongue weight.

there is a basic trailer, and then you can just keep adding the options for more and more $$$$$$.

a lot of trailers are tall, and you can't see any lights on the bike.

this trailer has a low profile so the trunk lights on the Wing are still visible.

it's a pricey trailer when new....that one in the pic was $4,600, used ones can be found for a lot less.

there are many motorcycle cargo trailers available, and a large range of pricing.

if you need some more info just post back or you can email me

Ken, thanks for the response.   I went to demo a STALLION Wednesday and the dealer had a matching trailer for their triked Goldwing that was an Escapade from CSC.  It is a nice trailer and on the list.  I am researching the different trailers and definitely plan to purchase on as soon as I figure out the hitch situation.  Am also studying whether to trike the Interstate or sell and buy a GW trike.  Again thanks for the info.  JOHN

If you need a little more storage, but don't want to pull a trailer, the Pakit Raks are great.  http://www.dixonymachine.com/Pakit%20Rak%20GL1800.htm

If you are locked onto just a few trailer candidates and don't want to get off track or be confused about which way to go, DO NOT CLICK the link below.   Wink

Dave
what a great selection format you have there for all the trailers!
i actually wish at times i had got the large size Aluma so as to make a dog compartment in it. I'm not gonna cut this escapade up for vents, bubble viewer, and such. And just don't like the looks of the Wags horse trailer style.

My choice of all of those is the Adventure Sport.  It is the only one with air ride system for suspension....

They pull great, and do not bounce around on rough roads like the ones with an axle and springs, or the rubber pad suspension ones........ I believe they call them Torsion bar..

not trying to start a battle. just info.
Bushtec has air suspension, (according to the website). I don't have a bushtec.

Escapade has torsion and Progressive air shocks. do have escapade elite

I had a Cyclemate, the 22 cu ft one, for about 10 years. it had torsion susp only and pulled very well. It would bounce just a little if pulled empty, but why would I pull it empty? With just a small suitcase for myself and on for the wife, a small cooler/ice/drinks, and some other misc items it stayed on the pavement very well. 20 psi in the tires.

Dave that is a great website.  I have looked at the index of motorcycle trailers but this site has a lot more and the pic of the product saves time.  Some great looking setups.

Just to clarify, that's not my website.  I don't speak French, but it looks like the (much) credit belongs to Michel Raffin.  It was posted on the Texas board a couple of months ago by one of our local Valkyrie girls - rider, not pillion - and I bookmarked it.  BTW, she trailers her dogs behind her darkside Tourer!
