that's what they're waiting on to start putting my bike back together. the left valve cover has been on order for several weeks now....and it is listed as backordered with no release date. Anyone know where i can find one??????????  My current one has a hole in it with oil leaking out of it from the wreck  Angry

Or if you don't like the scratches and dent in that one, here's a brand new set:

Not to be a wise-a$$ but did you try ordering a right one?

Try some JB Weld till you can get the new one.

looks like sure enough left and right are the same part. but i called DLP....cause i know how they work on OEM parts. they do NOT stock them....but rather order them just like most dealers. i talked to Chris at DLP....whom i know pretty good. he looked it up and said "yep, backordered". it doesn't matter what dealer or place i go through....unless they happen to carry a valve cover IN STOCK...which few would do that (if any)....they'll order thru Honda and get the same backordered status.

i may have to buy one from ebay...or try the place in NC Hubscap/Mike noted. i have a LOT of spare parts laying around my garage....but a spare valve cover isn't one of the spares i have  Cheesy

Have no idea if he still has them, but Big Mike had a set at Inzane for sale (perfect condition). Don't know if he still has them or if he'll split them up...

Good luck.

If the left and right are interchangeable, I don' t mean to insult your intelligence but there are several on eBay right now for under $100 each:

Bad news....Honda says release date END OF MAY...

Good news, Mike Terry (sponsor here  cooldude) has several...including one new one. I've got one on the way now.....the only part left to get is the new windshield...and i can ride the bike it like it is (fixed up of course)....with the scuffed up shield ...until the new shield comes in and then slap that on.

i'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel now  Cool

and yes, i rode twice in recent days to see if i could do it...and i had no problems ....
