alright, i put in one of those Autovox cruise controls last year, and i love it. the only problem is, now, it only works in the afternoon when the temps are above 40*. anyone else ever have this problem? it stinks not having cruise when i'm riding to or from work.
anyone have any idea's?
BTW, vacuum is being pulled off of carberators 1 & 2, no vacuum canister (vacuum has never been an issue with just those two carbs), sometimes it works fine, then drops off. other times it won't even engage, but everything turns on. this ONLY happens on cool crisp mornings when the temp is BELOW 40, once it gets warmer it works fine.

I've installed 4 of thes unit over the years with only a broken wire and a burned out brake bulb that caused any problems. I'ld check the control panel for moisture, you can pop the cover off and clean the contacts. I've used mine down to 23 degrees with no problems.

I'm still voting for a bad connection someplace. Maybe the temperature thing is just a fluke.

Mine quit working too. Lights come on on the control. Maybe a kinked vac line is my problem? Could you make a quick run over here and check mine out alph? MP
