Found a KURY Heel Toe Shifter. Good looking but the connecting rod is missing and it will have to be made. Sad
Still negotiating price... he wants $140 as is. How difficult would it be to find or fabricate a connecting rod?  ???

I am not mechanically inclined and my main tools are duct tape, a hammer and a coat hanger... Roll Eyes Embarrassed
I wonder whether one of you out there might have one in your parts bin for sale.  laugh
Perhaps someone could or would fabricate one for me at a reasonable price?  Shocked

My problem is that I have never seen one so I would not know the appropriate length or how is it set up.
I saw a photo and it looks to be adjustable in length and I would guess 'bout 8 inches long.  Undecided

Notwithstanding, I would not know where to begin! I need guidance and help. Cry
A photo of one on your Valk would be very helpful. Smiley

Your comments and suggestions are welcome.  Wink

Thanks for your help.  Wink

Paxton, let me look and see what i can make.

it's pretty much useless with out that connecting rod, i'd offer the guy $100 because of that.  take a picture of what you've got, or photo shop in some arrows on a picture of mine.  (i'm guessing it's like mine) you might be able to get one off of another cycle and just bend it in the right spot.

If it's not complete, it won't function, and therefor it would be useless.  It's only worth something to the person that has the missing part and can use the part he is buying ...    Maybe the seller will find the right person to sell it to, but I don't think you are the one that should buy it.

The most I would offer is, chrome messed up, $10.00, chrome in good shape no scratches, $15.00.

Without that rod it is as worthless as tit's on a boar.

Might piss off your seller, but hey, if the truth hurts, so be it.

Folks;
Thank you for your comments and guidance.  Smiley
Yesterday, I offered and he could have got me for $125 cold cash; but he refused... got stuck on $140.  Roll Eyes
His girlfriend encoraged him to take my offer. He said NO, I'll handle this! tickedoff

Today he came by the house and said that he'd take the $125.  ???
I counter offered $20 and he looked shocked. At first, he thought I was kiddin' but then he realized that I wasn't and threw a fit!  Angry

I said thank you and excused myself away.Lips Sealed  He then got on his car and took off like a Bat out of Hell!  Lips Sealed
