Well I got the estimate for the repairs after Mondays crash, parts 26,000. I will pick up a copy and try to post it next week. I thought he was kidding the bike was bad but not that bad. He didn't even figure labour because it is obviously totaled. I looked up kbb and they list it at 5775.00. I would never sell that bike for that total BS.
I guess the good news is I have a lot of time to make sure I get the most out of my bike. I will not be easy to deal with if they come with a low ball offer. I will have a friend of mine pick it up and keep it at his shop until I get a better look at it. I think i will buy it back from the insurance company   I can't believe that bike can't be back on the road it may just have a new look but it will be back!
I ended up back in the ER Wednesday with compilations but am home again. My wife is a saint for all the tender care and stress she has gone through. I think I better Order some flowers for her or something.

$26,000 ..... Dollars?? You can buy several Valk's for that. Good luck with the recovery. Get the old girl back in shape. Parts are available, you will just have to look for them.
