You wont find a single one at Walmart anymore. All they carry is Fram filters now.
And on a side note because I was forced to look this all up. Wally World SuperTech SAE10w-40 is perfectly alright to use in a Valkyrie. Its API Sevice is SN,SM,SL. With absoloutly NO friction modifiers in it at all.
So there it is, no more reading oil threads here for me.............. No need to.

I would imagine the 7317 is a tad larger than the 6607 but will still work. The other link is the direct replacement for the 6607 (says so on the filter)

Thanks for the heads up .... been wondering if they were still available elsewhere. It was nice being able to just peel the sticker off.

Considering I had to read all the oil threads here and no mention of the end of the Wally World filter. It was the least I could do. For the cheapest of filters. Its usually at the top of the class when testings done.
And yes you can use the smaller 6607, rather then the larger 7317. A beer or soda can still fits over both and makes a good cover.
Notice that the numbers are the same for both WW and Champion......
While Im at it. Most but NOT all 10w-40 dino oils have NO modifiers. So the OEM manual is actually correct. Ill save the synth 20w-50 for my Yamaha.

Since wally world still sells supertech oil products, I have no idea why they switched to Purolator. I used the supertech filters and like them. It's nice to know another source for the same filter. Thanks for the info.

Economics..............Fram costs more............. If I do find out thats why. Ill buy up a bunch of the SuperTech oils while I can. For the easy 10 minutes it takes to do a oil change on this bike. Im staying with Dino oils for it.

a 15w40 oil is a much, much better oil than a 10w40. the ST 15w40 gets good reviews and used oil analysis at www.bobistheoilguy.coma lot of 10w40s actually will shear down to a 10w30 after a few thousand miles, reason it starts out as a 10w30 and the company just adds extra thickners to make it meet a 10w40, these thickers wear out. a 15w40 will not.
