Intersections Sad Angry tickedoff :'(

Allstate is taking a stand.

Allstate is runnng a challenge to ask anyone where a sign might be placed if you know of an  intersection that is particularly

dangerous to Motorcyclists.

No this is not a sales pitch by Allstate, you don't have to buy or signup for anythng.

Except maybe face book, I have been there already and it is legit.

But others do do face book and other such stuff, name a Intersection you would like protected and has

proven to be dangerous to bikers and let us do the uploading.

The Arse you save may be your own.

I already named one, an others have as well.

of course if any intersection gets enough complaints. they can justify raising rates in that area.  Lips Sealed

Cool idea.

There's an intersection 3/4 mile from my house where two bikers have died in the past three years. The first was a Lady named Lindsey Boring. I rode through there the next day and it looked like someone had killed a deer on the highway. Last year a guy was killed there, I rode up just after it happened. They were holding up a sheet to hide the body but I could see he had broken Lindsey's cross with his body and was still laying there. I can't see what it is about that intersection but maybe Allstate will.

I say good for them! It could be selfserving but it could save a life.

Not so much the intersections as we have entire stretches of roads that are killers.

Highway 98 from Panama City to Pensacola

Highway 85 from Fort Walton Beach to Crestview

Highway 98 is known as "Bloody 98".

Pretty much anywhere along those roads a motorcyclist is likley to have an "accident" with another vehicle.  Most of the time, it's someone turning left in front of the motorcycle.  The offender usually just gets off with a failure to yeild ticket.....even when death is the result of their inattention.

US1 to Key West should get a sign the size of a Bill Board.

In fact it has a federal bill board to tell everyone how dangerous it is.

The Dragon in Deals Gap needs a sign like that to slow everyone the hell down before they take the plunge

head long into destiny. That road is not for ametuers. At ALL, one slip and off the mountain you go.

When I was there in February,(Key West) 4 persons had already died this year on that stretch of over the water highway.

No telling how many were maimed as well.

It needs one.

Mad Dog here from K-Town survived along with myself on US1.

All the way to the 90 miles from Cuba Marker
