Does not cancel, but lets ya know they are on...  Easy to do, and works very well.  I made mine with a beeper, kinda sounds like a truck backing up...

Blinker Buddy, is another option...  Silent, but 'buzzes' yer butt, each time your turn signal flashes.  just needs to be hooked up, and installed in yer seat pan.

Good luck  cooldude

I've used the Kisan Technologies SignalMinder SM-3. https://kisantech.com/view_product.php?product=SM-3.

That said, I now use http://www.blinkerbuddy.com/ underneath my seat instead. Over time I had issues with the SignalMinder that finally got to be too much. Luckily the installation is easily  reversible. If you try the SignalMinder be sure to bag the module as it lives in a wet location.

I like my Blinker Buddy (so does my wife   Wink ). I used the buzzer solution for a couple of years, but it became a bit embarresing when at a long red light with the hardleys.

That's one of two reasons I converted to HD controls, they have independent turn signal buttons for each side. After installing the controls, I then wired in a Penta Star module that has all the self-canceling features you could ever need. I've had this system installed for a good seven yrs. with no trouble. The other reason I converted was simply a matter of $$; was cheaper and easier to convert to the HD controls than to remove my OEM master cylinders and gut them and the switch boxes just to have them chromed. Then have to put it all back together again.

Mode 1: Press turn signal button for 1 second, turn signal lights will flash for about 10 seconds, then self-cancel.

Mode 2: Press turn signal button for 2 seconds, turn signal lights will flash for 20 seconds, then self cancel.

Mode 3: Press turn signal button for 4 seconds, turn signal lights will flash for 75 seconds, then self-cancel.

All three modes above can be cancelled by pressing the same turn signal button a second time.

Mode 4: Hazard Mode - is available all the time and will flash until cancelled. To engage, depress both the left and right turn signal buttons for 1 second. To cancel, depress both buttons again for one second.

I am interested in this.  Saw it on another Valk about 2 years ago and now that I have mine, I would like to do this.  Where can I get them and do you have any instructions or schematics?

Any caveats?

Doesn't work on the factory single button setup the Valks come with. Has to be separate circuits with separate buttons for left/right turns. It's entirely possible the Valk system can be modified to work with it, I would imagine you'd first have to isolate the left/right side such as with the Kuryakyn diode kit used if you have LED turns. The diode kit removes the feedback of voltage through the indicator bulb on the headlight, basically making it two separate circuits for purposes of lighting up that bulb. Doing that first MIGHT enable a person to use the system I spoke of, however you'd still have to remember to return the OEM turn switch to the center. I'd like to try it some time if someone had a bike I could experiment with....and buy the module. Sure would cure a lot of headaches for all the Honda riders. Why Honda used such a foolish method is beyond me.
