I mean...Geraldo Rivera....is calling for the family of the family members who crashed off of the Bronx River Pkwy to sue the city.
If you haven't heard, a woman in an SUV, with six other members of her family in the truck, was driving 68 mph in a 40 mph zone somehow hit the median, blew out a tire and then flipped the truck over the guardrail and the truck fell 60 feet killing them all.
I have driven that exact stretch of road hundreds of times (used to be my daily commute, then lived two exits down for 4 years. 68 in that area is like 95 on any other road. The lanes are verrrry narrow, it's on an incline to 60 feet up, and the road surface absolutely SUCKS with potholes, patches, and waves in the asphalt.
Yup, it's the city's fault.
