It is happening to me a whole lot faster than I like.  Arthritis in my knees and hips is kicking my butt.  Might end up selling my beautiful dragon.

Got one word, exercise. I am 68 and Arthritis was killing me, shoulders hurt so bad could not bear to sleep on my side, drugs helped but it was still there.  I know this sounds silly, wife and I joined the YMCA four months ago, we are doing a 1 1/2 hr aerobics class at least twice a week, and guess what, I am off the drugs and the pain is 90% gone. We are in the Silver Sneakers program for seniors so nothing is that hard, mostly light weights 5 to 10 lbs, tension bands etc. Plus a lot of stretching. There are a dozen others I have talked to in class and they have had the same results. The first couple weeks are hard as most hurts the next day, but every time we go it gets easier and we feel younger. I feel better than I have in the last 15 years. Might be some thing to look into.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Darn Bill.. I have all those symptoms. Arthritis in my hips and shoulders is really hurting me bad. After a long ride my arms and shoulders hurt the rest of the day. I'm going to check into that soon. Thanks for the heads up.
