IF only for the laughs!  There was a lot of good action, spent too much time trying to get the team motivated.  But there were a lot of good laugh out loud moments.

(spoiler alert)

Stan Lee does not make his appearance until the ending.

I just got back from watching it in 3D with my son. This is absolutely a movie worth spending the extra money and seeing it on the big screen. In fact, at our local Regal Theater they have a new RPX theater with a super comfortable seats, a HUGE freaking screen, amazing sound... it's 5 bucks a person more, but for a BIG movie like this one, worth every penny.

VERY entertaining movie. Go see it.

Worked all weekend so may go to see it tomorrow, especially if GREENLANTERN recommends it.  crazy2

Highest grossing movie of ALL time in the US.  I would see it just because of that.

It was VERY entertaining! My only gripe was at the end, Captain America is riding a motorcycle (NOT a spoiler) and the bike is obviously on a trailer or otherwise not actually being ridden around a slight curve. tickedoff

I haven't been to a movie in probably 5 years, wife and I went in Feb for my birthday.

HOLY COW!!!  Have things changed.
We have a fairly new theater also with the very comfortable seats and amazing sound system.

The two movies we saw were in 3-D and I think I don't want to see a movie that's not 3D anymore!!  Way different from the 3-D I saw 15+ years ago!!

I'm glad the Avengers movie is good. The advertisments looks good and we like the Iron man movies.

May just have to partake this one on the Big screen!!

Haven't set foot in a theater since I bought the big screen on the wall.  The wife hates it but knows it's the second reason I come home from riding the Fat Lady.  Seriously doubt I'll go see this or any other movie.  While I do want to see it, I'll wait until I can own the movie and see it at home.

I've seen the "trailers" on TV and have not seen a single thing that would make me want to see it. I don't see a point to movies that are not realistic and true to life.

Personally I see enough "true to life" happenings daily so when I go to a movie I want to be entertained and forget about real life for a couple of hours.

Oh well, to each his own.

I have to agree. I liked Watchmen and I have a few graphic novels that I really like (Stephen King's Dark Tower series for instance) but the whole Superman/Batman genre of superhero never appealed to me.

And a flying aircraft carrier is a dumb idea, too easy to shoot down. But one that SUBMERGES? Now we're talking.

OK, so how did you like the 2 great scenes that Hulk had!  Love the smirk on his face when he pops Thor!

Plus all the great body shots of Black Widow.  Yum.
