I am looking to rebuild my petcock because it is leaking fuel.

Already installed a Dan-Marc cutoff, but now I want to rebuild the petcock (don't want to compromise my reserve by installing a Pingle .... yet).

Found this during a search:  http://www.amazon.com/Supply-Fuel-Petcock-Repair-18-5018/dp/B001KO4ZBU

Can anyone verify that this is the correct part I need?

Yes, that is called a Cover Set.  I used that to repair my petcock when it was leaking from the weep hole, then a few months later it crapped the bed altogether.  In my opinion this fix just buys you a little time, but yes its the right part

Spring of 2010 my petcock started leaking down the vacuum line of #6 carb. Fouled the spark plug every 50 miles. Ordered the cover set and at the same time someone posted how-to convert the petcock to manual. I gave it a try waiting for my parts. It worked ! My parts came in and are still in the bag unopened.
I like the looks, size of reserve and location of the stock petcock so I've stayed with it for 2 more years. The one thing to remember is " SHUT-OFF" the petcock when you get off the bike. I've been doing that for decades it's a natural thing to do for me.

Converted mine to manual about 4 or 5 years ago and have never looked back. I'm an old dirtbiker so turning the fuel off is a habit that I have had for years. Just remember key on/ fuel on ,  key off/fuel off. With the valk you really don't have to remember to turn the fuel on as it'll let you know to turn it on.
