Every year about this time, the folks up in Burkes Garden, Va. have their annual Blessing of the Bike event, which includes a free lunch, hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings, free of charge, for all that wish to attend....the local pastor blesses the bikes individually and the riders and gives you a pin and pray card for you to carry thru out the riding season....if you're looking for something to do this Sunday, drop in and enjoy the festivals here in Va. Lunch is served a 1 pm..

Wanted to go there yesterday...between the other roads and the rain...
I just wore down before I got there.
It is a beautiful place.

Burkes Garden is beautiful.
You can dirt road it southwards
Well on a ST1300 you can.
Couple of the bends are so tight I had to back up and manouver.
