I called Henry yesterday with no notice to see if he wanted to ride around in
Greenville County (and across the line a little in NC really)... he just got his bike
back from Wheeler's, in Robbinsville... something "blew out" on it a few
weeks ago, he thought he'd destroyed it, but Wheeler replaced some coolant
lines hidden way back behind some of that plastic and did some other
cooling system R&R, fair price, good work, and Henry's back on the road...

We met up at a gas station at "A" and headed up 178...

We stopped near the highest point in South Carolina, Sassafras Mountain,
and had a knock down drag out camera draw down...

Henry left for a tennis match, and I continued exploring the roads between "D"
and "F", I went on many more roads than my map shows, it is accurate where I went
into the DuPont forest, and accurate where I came out at Flat Rock. I found numerous roads
that turned dirt, and a few that went into crowded neighborhoods with big houses, but a good
curvy un-trafficked  route could also be made through there.

Just a little past Carl Sandburg's house in Flat Rock, I came upon a touristy place
where there were some places to eat. I headed for the BBQ place, but they didn't
take plastic, so I hit the exact opposite - the humus place... it was dee-lish...

Down the hill from there and back in South Carolina at Cleveland, I stopped for gas,
and there were three other Valkyries there. They'd never heard of the VRCC,
I told them about it. They had some nice Valkyries, and seemed to like them, perhaps
they'll show up here...

I stopped and got a picture at Eden's store just past Pumpkintown, been
wanting to do that for a while...
