My service manual say to hook up a good tachometer according to tach's instructions.
So i understand clip sensor to spark plug wire,,,,, clip ground to ground,,,,,, clip red to positive side of coil ??????   I dont want to load down a coil or blow up the elec timeing module by guessing.
Any one give me the right place to hook the red tachometer lead.

Hey, Bob, welcome to the forums. It would be helpful if you told us what you are doing that you need a tach for. I don't get that deep into adjustments on the bike, but there are people in here that can answer just about anything given all the details...

I was going to adjust the pilots on carbs, but maybe doing it by sound might be better, even
if i dont hear so good.
