I picked up my 1st (black) Frogg Toggs at Academy Sports and they have the reflective piping.  They now sit in my Tourer's saddlebags cause I picked up another pair on sale from Direct line back at Christmas and the new set is in my I/S's bags.

Fieldsheer four season with liner (cold and hot weather appropriate).

Also keep a pair of Frog Toggs for those days when rain is not expected, but "you never know".

The only issue I have with the Toggs is that the inside is sensitive... have to remove your boots when you put them on and take them off, or you'll tear them up inside.

The wife and I have Frogg Toggs we bought, oh, 15 years ago. They are the uglyist orange you've ever seen. They were on sale, $12.95 a set. I like the orange better then Blue, Black or grey. It is a lot easier seen in rain. That being said these have served the purpose flawlessly. You can't go wrong with them. They keep you dry, dry quickly, and pack small. All for a fair price.

I have a Tourmaster Defender rain suit.  I prefer a rain suit that is brightly coloured with retroreflective elements because rainy conditions are when visibility is the worst.

Frogg Toggs for me too although mine now have holes were I cam in contact with my exhaust pipe.  They do seem to take up alot of room in the saddle bag but then any rain gear does.

I got the BILT Tornado jacket and pants at Cycle Gear, and stuffed them in the old Frogg Togg bag.  Didn't like the lack of venting in the Froggies, find the Tornado much better cooling.  Also, much tougher on the inside, and zippers for the legs.  NO leaks!  ;-)

I got a pair of executive rain pants from Work Warehouse, baggy, but work well, won't melt on pipes and i can put them on without taking off my boots. I bought an 'all weather' fabric/mesh jacket at a bike show, and it works great in the rain, but doesn't breathe so like a sauna if it's warm. I pulled the armor bits out of it and it fits, though tightly, over my leather jacket.

Two days of rain last summer, 10-12 hours a day, and dry as the proverbial bone. Mix and match works sometimes, but takes up a lot of saddlebag room. Seeing as I get a long way from home sometimes, and live near the mountains (so rain, hail, sleet, snow can happen on very short notice) I don't really begrudge the room.

I have the BMW ProRain 3, 1 piece suit. Like all BMW gear it is top of the line in design, materials and function. The zipper is very long and makes putting this thing on easy.

Here is more info.

When riding in heavy rain the bright yellow color makes you much more visible, and you stay totally dry.

I must be doing something wrong?  I find that in a good storm I stay fairly dry, but sooner or later the Mustang seat fills up with rain and I am sitting in a puddle.  Not sure if any suit keeps your "seat" dry?  Maybe I need to look at what you all are using.

Your pants have a leak.  Time for new ones.

Seam sealer on the seat seams does the trick.

Since it's latex, it stays flexible and stays put.

Waterproofs the pants seat, sit in water all day and stay dry.

Farther:  I too burned holes (it only takes a second)  in the legs of my Frogg Toggs.  However, I "sealed" the holes with Duct tape!!  I taped up the whole lower inside of each leg and now when I accidentally touch the hot exhaust on either side, no problem.

Nelson Rigg AX-1 is an older 2 piece model, can be found on eBay without spending a ton of money and they work excellent. Two weeks ago I got caught in a 90 minute downpour and arrived home bone dry. I also highly recommend the Aerostich 3 finger rain overmits. The Ultimate Seats ride-on seat cover also kept the seat bone dry.

All the best,

Mark
