and the Old Green Dragon ran like a scalded dog...she was pulling harder than ever before...and I hope it stays that way....the thought that something else might break or the petcock might foul up again was in the back of my mind today, but I can't let that stop me from riding my ride....it was a short ride, but much needed....

I am going to have the In-laws over a little later and try to not burn their burgers and dogs on the grill....I hope all the VRCC members have a great day today....and I just want to say THANK YOU to all of our Vets...past, present and future!!... cooldude

We didn't eat at Tiger. They'd closed the kitchen at 10 am.

The turnout was good. All riders. No mishaps this year which is always a plus.

Mark Phillips took an ST1300 and a couple on a GW1800 for a 7 mile dirt road detour when they got separated from the tail end of the group of 16 bikes. Cheesy

The ST and the GW bailed at a gas stop in Old Fort. Didn't ride wiht us yesterday. I guess we're too crazy, wild, rash etc etc.

without a few miles of gravel roads thrown in for fun??...I even took Thumper on a tour like that last year on the way back to Cheaha from Talladega....didn't want him to think he wasn't getting his $$'s worth on that new Valk he had back then!!... cooldude

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Good to hear it was running. Was it a bad petcock?

Steamer.

I met One Eyed Willy's brother tonight.

There's a new taqueria opened just up the road and they have him coiled up on top of a 20 gallon glass container of tequila with pineapple in.

Hic!

Had "pulled apart"...not sure why, but, there was also a pinched vacuum line ...
