Anybody that's had it done, what's the procedure. Or....anyone have a set they're willing to sell/swap with me. Mine are polished and look good, just not the same. Probably have the TT's done at the same time. Again, I polished mine but still not the same as....well, you know. It's about the only thing I have left and I haven't done anything to the bike in 2-3 yrs. and she needs a facelift.

Hey John Had mine done many years ago on my Tourer. Was very easy, just opened my wallet. Was getting new Progressive springs and shocks put on at my dealership I deal with and had them park the bike while the forks were chromed. Cost back then about $500 for the chroming  and to me worth every penny.

Yup, I know Mike personally...as many of us do. I'll have to give him a shout soon, see if he has anything or knows of some. Main reason it came to mind re. the forks....I'm working a Valk now that is chromed out. Appears whatever isn't painted is chromed. Beautiful ride....'98 Tourer, black and chrome. Runs like crap at idle until you add the choke, pretty much narrows it down to slow jets which I have on order. Will do a desmog while in there, and it appears the driving lights are in the headlight circuit so that will have to be changed to a separate circuit. Next will be the left wheel bearing in back, chirping like a homesick canary. I plan to convert to the double row for him while at it, and service the entire rear end. Another week he should be scootin' fast, bike sat for some time before he bought it.
