Chrysler Fuel Line Snap Fittings

I need to again replace the fuel pump in my ‘92 Lebaron.  There are 2 snap fittings just like the one pictured below, except with less access.  I had these apart less than 5 years ago when I replaced the fuel pump the first time, but the rust looks worse now than it did then.

Any suggestions or tips for removing these fittings?  At this point, I do not even remember exactly which way the parts are supposed to move, but until they soak a little longer in Liquid Wrench, it is an academic discussion only.

I know it is possible to ignore these fittings, cut the hoses, and reinstall with barbs and clamps, but I am not that desperate yet.

Given these are fuel lines, I do not think a torch is the answer.

I am out of town on Friday, and usually away from my computer on the weekend, so please do not misinterpret a slow response as a lack of interest.  Thanks for any suggestions.

If a vehicle came inot our shop with lines like that, they would get replaced.

No need to fight them and hope they don't leak when reused.

I'm not even sure I could buy replacement lines if I wanted to.  These are solid lines with a short piece of flexible hose on each end and then the snap on fitting.  To fit a '92 Lebaron.

What would you replace them with and where would you suggest I find replacements?

Similar fittings as used on some ac lines you need  a tool to take them off. They have a retainer inside that closes up when you put the line on you can get the tool at most autoparts stores

We work on a lot of OLD iron, cause dealers won't work on anything over 15 years old.

ALL, and I mean ALL of our parts come from O'Rielly, Auto Zone, and a place  called Factory.    This factory place, I'm not sure if it is only a local store or not, but I know they have a sheet pot full of old material, radiators, fenders, gas lines, brake lines, rear wheel brake drums and etc.

If you have a Factory (actual name) store, call and ask if they have the gas line.  If not, our store will get us parts overnight.    If we get a order to the Factory store by 2:30 PM, we will have it at 8:30 AM the next morning, delivered to the shop.

I just Googled them and they are all over per this link.
