Most know that I usually travel with my spouse.  His back is out and i needed some wind.  So off I went...had a general direction, but, he has the gps on his bike...so i just rode....

I ended up along the niagara river... found a little restaurant on the water and ice cream stand...

there was also a little park that also described that they used this area to take slaves across to canada ....

and of course a boat launch....

kept riding along the shore to a little town - olcott on lake ontario

and no ride report is complete without.....

Well home now....but, it was a nice day of just wandering aimlessly..... wasn't always sure where I was... I just headed in a direction.  Need more days like this....... Smiley

Beautiful ride report.....my favorite rides are the "seat of my pants" kinds where I don't really know where I'll end up.....just take a direction and see what it brings......I also need more of those, especially here lately....... cooldude

Great ride report, I'm jealous.  Next time you feel like riding, head southwest and give me a holler.  Cheesy

Best rides are when yer just wandering...  Too often, when ya have a destination, you don't take time to take it all in.

Nice report  cooldude

Like others have said Deb, the best rides are without GPS.  Rode a while yesterday for Mothers Day and really enjoyed it.

Tell D to get well, back problems are terrible.

People sometimes don't understand when I tell them how much I enjoy ridding all by myself. Not a loner or anything but sometimes it's just nice.

That's what i need to do.  I have been working too much lately and I think I am going to do what Lil D did, take to the road on Monday and just ride.  Great report.
