Just wondering what folks recommendations for replacing spark plug leads / wires would be?

The standard Honda set (which comes complete with the rubber plugs on the end) is very expensive over here in the UK... about $250 - Is it the same in the US?

I keep seeing these nology wires offered - any good?

I would wonder with a replacement set that are not OE whether water would get into the hole / shaft in which the plugs sit..?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You can buy bulk 7mm, copper core, wire for cheap and put on the old OEM boots yourself. It should be less than $20 easily. John Schmidt did a write up on changing out the OEM boots: http://www.valkyrieriders.com/ShopTalk/plugwires.pdf

There is a drain hole at the bottom of the spark plug well so if you decide to use non-OEM boots you will be fine as long as the drain hole is clear.
