Replacing the rear tire on a friend's bike with a car tire and he wants to use the beads. Just wondering how much you all have used with good results, I don't have the literature anymore that came with it.

I'm very sure the stock MC tires front take 2 oz, and 3 oz for the rear, which is also the same amount for the 205 wide CT too.
I bought the 5lb bulk beads from the original supplier to Dyna Beads, I think for $60 delivered. This way I could do all my vehicles, MC, and have some for friends.

I have 4 oz in my Falken rear. Ask where you buy them, the dealer should have a chart telling how much for any size tire. Fred.

3ozs for most CT tire sizes used on Valks. But another deal where you cant overdose. Just underdose.

And who is the supplier? sounds like a better idea than 2 or 3 oz at a time, got a name or phone number

just so you all know, www.quackco.com is no longer in business. I talked to Tom himself and he retired over 1 year ago found out today. However, he strongly suggested giving this co. out of Tennessee a call if wanting balancing beads for cycle tires. So, I called http://www.ceroglass.com/ and talked to a great lady named Theresa in sales. great lady to work with and cheaper than ordering thru amazon.com but must buy in bulk 30 dollar mininum order, but still cheaper per ounce by far.\\http://www.ceroglass.com/team I guess is called ZS beads in .8 to 1.0mm in sizing for cycle tires only needing 2-3 ounces per tire is all. Just thought that you all should know where to get balancing beads for any type of tire since quackco.com being Tom retired and referred me to this new ceroglass company. Happy balancing!

oops, sorry to repost your post basically never saw that one when I searched for dynabeads. for those that use real BB's are you talking about .177 air rifle copper colored BB's you use in pellet/BB guns for the 2 ounces needed or are you all talking about the air soft BB's which are lighter you get say at Walmart as that other post suggested? Some of the counteractbalancing beads (dynabeads) when aired up the tire blew OUT so not sure how many were left in there on that car tire, plus using grease around the tire/rim, am sure some of those .80 mm very very tiny dynabeads got stuck am sure on the rim/tire when mounting the car tire. MY best guess is of the 2.2 ounces I weighed on my food scale over 1/2 are no longer in the rear car tire.

Dont matter as long as you use the same weight.

did 110 miles 2 up....didnt notice a thing....
2oz silver BB's.
One thing I did notice that when I got the last front tire mounted, the shop that did it, used a synthetic powder type of material. The Valve stem was leaking and I did not know why. When I pulled the stem needle it was covered in that material.
Looked almost like glitter without the shine...
