I am getting ready to send a couple of helmets to J&M to install headsets into....but wanted to ask if the group has another preference?  Plan on using the headsets for CB and of course radio etc;

I have tried most of them and none of them are worth a pinch of coon crap.  Too much ambient noise coming through.  They all gave me a headache.  I finally tried the Scala G4 headsets.  Works wonderful, although, they won't work with the CB since they are self contained wireless headsets.

I like my J&M Elite headset. I use ear plugs with my headset. That way I can crank the volume and still hear the music/CB but not the wind.

I have the J&M and works great... tied into my Garmin Zumo and bluetooth to my phone... ear all very well.   I wonder if those with problems are because of the helmet?  i wear the Nolan N43-Trillagy and have very little issue with wind...

Good luck and ride safe

I have the Scala G4 and think it's WONDERFUL.

I wonder if there is some sort of CB bluetooth adapter you could use... ?

I won't be without Scala ever again.

I have always had J&M headsets. Always been pleased with them. Just recently my wife bought me a new Scorpian transformer helmet, so I sent it off to J&M to have a headset installed. They were quick (had it about 3 days), even shipped it back free. It works great, very little wind noise and sound good. I don't have to have the volume up to hear. I have to say it is only as good as what you mount them in.

I have had the absolute best luck with J&M but they are pretty pricey. Chatterbox has a decent headset that is really inexpensive, around $99.00. I've also had Airrider but it required a battery which was a pain in the butt. I recently tried a setup from Show Chrome and it was easy to install, fit very good,  reasonably priced and the first time it went through some serious rain .... it crapped out. So for now I am back to J&M.
