Thank You All For The Prayers and Good Thoughts! I was hospitalized because the leviquan anti biotic was not working so I need IV therapy. They started with vancomicin which kind of scared me. That was not working either. The infectious disease MD called the CDC and they came up with one that worked.
Patty Ann has several cracked ribs and a possible fractured pelvis. She is a much stronger person than I am a carried our family through.
Pardon my typing, but dialaudid and valium is some combo! I have been in AA since 1981 and by the Lords good graces and many good folks have kept me sober for over 30 years one day at a time.
Needless to say it has been a while since i have been feeling like this. Last year I purchased 25000$ med ins. on each rider. In NYS MC policy are not covered by "No Fault" I also have the under insured motorist rider on the policy. My company changed our health insurance so I also purchased AFLAC accident and cancer insurance. I believe our med bills should be covered.
Please check your ins policies and do what you can.
My kidneys and spleen took a beating. The DR sat Pat and I down and said I have to lose 100 lbs. The deal is if I loose the weight we will buy another bike Talk about motivation!
The sight of Patty lying there haunts me., Progressive paid me very well for the Valk, He was impressed with my service record note book and receipts. He asked me why I had a shoe box full of half used brake pads. I explained I changed my brakes every year, explaing that i would rather have brand new breaks then half used ones

Bottom line is after my beautiful wive has been driving mini vans since 1990, I am going to use the insurance payout as a down payment on a 2011 Camaro Covertable. The woman deserves that and more.

One last thing I feel compelled to say. I am a Born and Bred New York Liberal. A Jewish man by birth and Belive.  All of you folks, every last one of you are among the finest I have ever met.
Your Prayers and good thoughts carried us through. I needed them and they were there for me. Please keep Patty In your prayers. I might be a bit under the influence but I can say with all  the sincerity Thank You with all the love in my heart.

Steven.

My friend I wish I recorded our conversation earlier today as you were chock filled up with the happy stuff they give you in the hospital

 2funny

Take care of yourself and Patty, make sure that they determine what is going on with her pelvis before too much more time goes past, SHe aint as stout as you and is not a complainer so insist on answers from the docs.

let me know when you need refills of the stuff Bonnie made for you guys and I will ride on up to Chester

Delighted to read your drug-induced works, and happier still to see you listed in the who's-on-the-board section! Get some rest, you've got a lot of living to do!

Jimmy me too, I am sure we will meet in the wind eventually, We need some time to  heal up, physically and mentally. Brother to tell you the truth Patty and i are hurting. I am 57 and she is 53.
We are aching, and I am having some nightmare problems of seeing her lying there. I might be a tough guy, but I am nothing and got nothing without her. Thank you for you prayers, Please keep them up, especially for my Patty Ann. Thank You!

Bonzo... I am glad they got you patched back together.

We're all adults, and make to choice to ride or not to ride.  I totally respect yours either way.

I am glad you're healing up, and wish the same for your lovely bride, whom you obviously adore.

Bonzo,

glad to hear that both of you will be ok, and my only advice is get healed up before making any decisions as to the bike or not, let the wounds heal so your making judgments with a clear mind, and no I was not just referring to the drug induced happy felling you have now  Cheesy get well soon and all the best to you and Patty...
