I've just bought my second Valkyrie (97 Standard) years after selling my 99 Interstate and back to riding the dragon.

Question 1:
Yesterday I've got new tires (AVON Cobra) installed.
I ride 80% single and 20% two up.
What is the best tire pressure rate I should be putting in for the longevity of these tires.

Q2:
Where is the best online place/s for best prices to get Valkyrie accessories like chrome alternator cover, chrome shaft cover, a cool looking 12V accessory outlet, GPS holder, etc.,

Q3:
Is Valkyrie Vest (fabric) with the official large logo of the club in the back still available for purchase? Where can I buy that? I can't find my old one and even if I find it I am suspicious that I will fit in it after 10 years and +40 lbs.

Thanks in advance guys,

Captain

I think most of us run 40 front and 42 rear.
Try honda direct line for parts .
Also e-bay some may be pricy.
Try the F6 store for Vest.

I found 45lbs. in both front and rear gave me the best longevity.

welcome home captain

single riding 40-42 front and 45 rear is what I have run on Cobra's with positive results.  I change em when they get near the wear bars, some ride till  the bitter end, I dont

I have an interstate and weigh 230 today. So if you are a small fellow and your bike is 100-150lbs lighter you may be ok with 40-44 I dont know to be honest with you

bump a pound for each hundred lbs of rider or gear or trailer

Thats just my take

I would seriously consider buying a 3 pack of ride-on and putting it in the  tires UNLESS you are using dyna beads. Also have you changed the valve stem to an all metal stem as when  the OEM go it is kinda hairy, especially if you are 2 up.

I am changing my front in a few weeks and will be putting the all metal stem in. I have one in the rear tire now.

Thank you guys...
It's nice to be back...

Oh, BTW I've found my 10 yr old VRCC vest. Miraculously I can still fit in perfectly.
