This isn't the group you're looking for I don't think. But I'll share anyway. It'll get you bumped back to the top.

My father had a heart valve replacement earlier in the year. Last weekend he rode his Gold Wing up to Boone for the weekend. Mom, my sister, and wife rode up in a separate vehicle. On Saturday Dad hopped on his bike and met a friend from Elk Park, TN at a Wendys. Then they rode up onto the parkway and met a group of friends heading south (1 from VA, 1 from NC, and 1 from GA) that were riding the parkway down from Waynesville. They all then went back to my brother's condo in Boone (he loaned it to my parents for the weekend). They had a spaghetti dinner.
So, not a bad first trip out on his Gold Wing. He'd ridden around town a bit in the past few months to work his stamina up.


My dad is 2nd from the left in the grey shirt.

Ofcourse, I was up here in PA and couldn't make it, but that was a thread of pics from another time.

I do like riding vicariously through the photos when I wind up out of state studying and cannot come along.
