I'm shocked I got this many miles in today with no break downs but the crane is doing pretty good so far. I should roll into Omaha,NE somewhere between 1:30 & 2:30 tomorrow if it does'nt fly apart and stays glued together.I came right by the Arch today at 2:30 it was much better seeing it last November from the Valkyrie with some good friends.

Hwy 19 south of 70 is a bikers road, twisty and hilly, nothing like you're used to at home.

Thanks for the information but I'm driving a 100,000 lb crane that's subject to meet the ghost at anytime  Cheesy I do good just holdin' it in my lane on the super slab if I hit the twisties in it I'd be on the news tonight  Smiley

Haven't been on 19 south of 44 since I was a kid many years ago. Plan to ride it to Arkansas this year sometime.

Another good run in that area is 28 out of Owensville to highway 50. 50  goes right thru wifes hometown of Rosebud. Good place to eat in Rosebud but I can't recall the name.

Andy give me a shout when your coming through. The road in Shannon county is a little rough, with patchovers, but still very rideable.

Rosebud is pretty small, the only place I can think of to eat is a Irish Pub right on Hwy 28. Ill have to try it out. We usually eat in Washington when riding that way.

I'll do that, it'll probably be July at the earliest or during fall colors at the latest.

I think the name of the place in Rosebud is Ken's it is where the old Y motel  was, going to Owensville it would be on the right side of the road at the east end of town. Cool
