Worked over weekend and had day off today. Took a ride up in mtns because it was so friggin hot in desert, 110*. Went to Idyllwild up about 5300'. A lot cooler. 1st 25 miles is a climb from 200' to about 4000' then along meadows and horse farms on slowly curving road. Little traffic. here is pic up there before heading up higher. Then about another 25 miles to Mtn Center and right about 5 mi to Idyllwild.
From Mtn Center it is a climb with lots of twisting turns the last few miles up to idyllwild, a small mtn artsy community where I had a good mexican lunch.
