Any one here thinking of have there hip replacement. I just had my hip replaced and i am doing real good. pain level was never over 4 and some of the time while sitting or laying on the bed, it was
0-1 pain level.
I can't tell you the name of the type of surgery, i had, they cut down the front of the leg, no
muscle is cut and i was walking 4hrs after surgery, and i have no restriction on leg movement.
If you are going to have a hip surgery, ask the Dr. if he cuts down the front or on the side of the
hip. My surgery is new and very few Dr. know how to do it. go they the front is alot better.

Did you have to do physical therapy afterwards?
I had mine replaced about 7 yrs ago and it was done on the side.
