Well it looks like maybe the cost of gas to get there
will be a bit lower than it could have been.
Lets see who says I did that for you.

When i went to Eureka Springs Ar. monday i filled up in Berryville Ar. at the Caseys for $3.30.9 a gallon. Cool When i got to E S the prices had increased .19 to .25 cents a gallon. crazy2 Here lately it's been costing me in the $20.00 area to fill my I/S. Cry I have refigured my fuel costs for Inzane and my ride to Texas after Inzane at $4 $5 $6 and $7 a gallon. Roll Eyes I hope and pray that in this instance i'm VERY VERY WRONG. cooldude RIDE SAFE.

gas prices since the prez took over:

Good source but you left off the months that set up that first dive.
Check this one out:
 http://66.70.86.64/ChartServer/ch.gaschart?Country=USA&Crude=f&Period=52&Areas=USA%20Average,,&Unit=US%20$/G

And that huge drop was because our economy crapped itself and "they" knew that high price wasn't sustainable.

We are up around 4.29 a gal for regular here in Wa. Prices are supposed to go up as much as 35 cents a gallon for the weekend..there aught to be a law against that ^&$(@&&&, EVERY holiday the prices go up a bunch, just so we can make those oil companies a few million more bucks.

Oh come on now. Haven't you heard? The companies don't raise prices on Fridays or holidays...that would be illegal. The reason is simply market fluctuations.  Grin

Someone needs to tell big oil that even though every single one of us was born either in the day or at night....it wasn't last night or yesterday. Cripes.

And while I'm bitchin...why is gas slightly south of me by a couple hours almost 50 cents cheaper? Must be WAY more expensive to haul it a little farther, I guess.

i live about 6 miles from the port of everglades, a major fuel port. i watch the fuel truck leave the docks and run to the local stations to fill their tanks. oddly fuel prices are $0.40-0.50 cheaper 60 miles north than they are here.

Same here Tank.  Deer Park, a burb of Houston refines more gas, than well, you know....   and the price is a little higher here than elsewhere.

No price break here in Baton Rouge either, even though Exxon-Mobil is our biggest industry.
