I use to find 4", 8" chrome bars (hangers) the would have a 5/16 or 3/8 hole on one (or both) end or perhaps a slot on the other, in the Kury catalog.

have looked and at JP cycles, can't seem to find  want to use a p-clamp and the bar to hang my xtra loud horn from my engine guard.

thoughts, links.......

I used a GM alternator support bracket mounted to the original mounting bolt, extends the horn out to clear everything, has holes already in it and worked perfectly. I'll try to get out and take a pic of it. I do know that the a can of the cheapest black paint you can find doesn't work to well, need to take it off and repaint it or get it powder coated.

Ok, here's a couple of pics...keep in mind that I've removed the Air Wings for the summer, so the horn looks like it's hanging out in the other lane,,,but it isn't, lol. I wanted the sound to be in front of the bike and this works. If you want pretty I guess you could find some chrome GM brackets or even do it in silver or aluminum.
